Sessions & Fees

I aim to make counselling accessible, transparent, and easy to begin. Below you’ll find my session fees, introductory options, and a clear explanation of what your investment covers.

Free, no obligation 30-minute phone call
I offer an initial free, no obligation 30-minute phone call for you to find out more about me and my service and for us to see if we could work together.

 Standard Session Fee

Online or in-person (depending on your preference).
This fee reflects my specialist experience as both a qualified counsellor and former midwife, offering a unique blend of therapeutic and maternity expertise.

Payment and cancellations
Payment is due on the day of your session via bank transfer.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less notice may be charged in full.

 Is Cost a Concern?
I understand finances can feel tight during pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and  parenthood. My introductory offers are designed to make starting therapy gentler and more accessible. If you have questions about sessions, feel free to get in touch

 Book a Session
To book an initial phone call and/or session , simply use my contact form or email me. I reply personally, usually within 24 hours.

If we do decide that we could work together then counselling sessions are typically on a weekly basis, lasting 50 minutes.

In the first session we will look at what brought you to counselling; and I will ask you about your social, emotional and medical history.
I offer in-person sessions in my therapy room within  Christchurch Therapy Rooms (CTR) in Christchurch, Bournemouth, Dorset. I also offer video counselling online  or by the phone, so you could be living anywhere in the UK or even be living abroad.

I offer both long and short- term counselling and we will discuss the possible length of your counselling at our initial appointment.

I am fully insured as a counselling therapist with cover provided by Towergate Insurance and offer you a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings
“ I have made so much more progress than I ever thought I could have - this is thanks to the safe space created by Caroline to explore thoughts and feelings safely”.
